Large cosmetic retailers such as Sephora and Ulta Beauty have partnered with organizations such as Pact Collective and TerraCycle to set up in store makeup recycling programs.


The Make-Off is a counter-top cosmetic container cleaning device designed to encourage consumers to participate in these kinds of recycling programs.

Initial Ideas

Chassis

Water loads in the back and used water funnels into a drip tray for easy cleaning.

Nozzle System

Water-tight system that allows the bristled nozzle to spin while jetting water out of the tip.

Beta Prototype

Cleans cosmetic tubes to recycling program standards while saving time, water, and energy
